Artwork Capture & Reproduction

Your original, captured at museum resolution.

We photograph paintings and original works in our Carmel studio on a 102-megapixel medium-format system — evenly lit, color-managed, faithful to the surface of the work. One capture becomes the master file behind every edition, catalog, and poster you'll ever need.

Why It Matters

The edition is only as good as the capture.

Most reproduction problems aren't printing problems — they're capture problems. Uneven light, color casts, and low-resolution files show up in every print made from them, forever.

Our studio captures at 102 megapixels on medium format: enough resolution to hold brushwork, canvas texture, and subtle tonal transitions at full print size — even at 64 inches wide.

Captured and printed under one roof

Because the printer sits steps from the capture station, we close the loop competitors can't: we photograph, proof against the original side by side, and adjust until the print matches the work — then archive the calibrated master.
